By making this switch over a year ago, we have significantly reduced the amount of plastic waste generated on our fishing trips.

Our commitment to sustainability extends to how we handle the fish we catch. We practice catch-and-release fishing for all billfish species. Catch and release, when done correctly, significantly increases the survival rate of fish and helps to maintain healthy fish populations. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, a fish doesn’t make it. When we do keep a fish, we ensure that it is used to its full extent, reducing waste and honoring the life of the fish. Our guests bring the fish to different restaurants to eat, they bring them back home or they give the fish to the boat crew for their family to enjoy.
